What we collect, and what we don't

• You can browse the entire site without giving us anything.
• We have no advertising, and we do not sell or share personal data.
• We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It sets cookies. Nothing else on the site does.
• We collect an email address only when you choose to submit a review or claim a provider profile.
• Outbound links to providers carry a referral code. They do not carry anything about you.

If you only read the site

Our server keeps standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and user-agent — because a web server that keeps none cannot be operated or defended. Logs rotate and are discarded within 30 days. We do not build a profile from them.

If you submit a review

We store the display name and the review text you enter, and an email address if you supply one. The email is used to contact you about the review and is never published. Reviews are shown publicly with the name you chose.

If you claim a provider profile

We store the email address you claim with and the verification token issued to your domain. Ownership is proved by a DNS TXT record on the domain itself, so we never ask for a password to anything.

What we never collect

We never ask for a password to a social media account, and no legitimate provider in this category needs one either. We do not take payment on this site, so we hold no card or bank details.

• Hosting. The site runs on our own server in Germany. Data is not transferred outside the EU by us.
• Google Analytics. Page-view data goes to Google, which may process it outside the EU under its own terms. This is the one third party that receives anything about your visit.
• Provider favicons. Provider logos are fetched by our server and served from our domain, specifically so your browser never contacts those providers and your visit is not disclosed to them.
• Outbound links. When you click through to a provider, you are on their site under their policy. Our links carry a referral code identifying us — not you.

Google Analytics. We use it to count visits and see which pages people actually read, because there is no other way to tell whether any of this work is useful. It sets cookies (_ga and similar) that recognise a returning browser, and it records the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. It does not tell us who you are.

We have not enabled Google Signals, advertising features, or remarketing, so this data is not used to target ads at you and is not joined to an advertising profile.

Opting out. Google publishes a browser add-on that blocks it, and any content blocker or a “do not track” setting will stop it too. The site works identically either way — nothing here depends on analytics.

The only other cookie is a session cookie set when a site administrator signs in to the private admin area. It does nothing on the public site.

If you are in the UK or EU you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to our processing it. Email support@creatoradvise.com and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason to have a review or a claim deleted.

Our lawful basis for storing review and claim details is legitimate interest in running a comparison site people can contribute to; you can withdraw at any time by asking us to delete them.
